AMO 5 / AMO 10
(Amlodipine Besilate)

Amlodipine is indicated for the treatment of hypertension. It may be used alone or in combination with other antihypertensive agents.

Amlodipine is indicated for the treatment of chronic stable angina. Amlodipine may be used alone or in combination with other antianginal agents.

Amlodipine is indicated for the treatment of confirmed or suspected vasospastic angina. Amlodipine may be used as monotherapy or in combination with other antianginal drugs.

• The usual initial antihypertensive oral dose of amlodipine is 5 mg once daily with maximum dose of 10 mg once daily. Small, fragile or elderly individuals or patients with hepatic insufficiency may be started on 2.5 mg once daily and this dose may be used when adding Amlodipine to other antihypertensive therapy.

• Dosage should be adjusted according to each patient's need. The recommended dose for chronic stable vasospastic angina is 5-10 mg with the lower dose suggested in the elderly and patients with hepatic insufficiency. Most patients will require 10 mg of for adequate effect.

Carvedilol is a non-cardio selective beta-blocker. It has vasodilating properties, which are attributed mainly to its blocking activity at alpha1 receptors; at higher doses calcium-channel blocking activity may contribute. It has also antioxidant properties. Carvedilol is reported to have intrinsic sympathomimetic activity and only weak membrane-stabilizing activity.

Carvedilol is used in the management of hypertension and angina pectoris, and as an adjunct to standard therapy in sympatomimetic heart failure. It is also used to reduce mortality in patients with left ventricular dysfunction after myocardial infarction.

• Hypertensive
• Angina
• Heart Failure

Hypertension: An initial dose of 6.25 mg is given twice daily, increased after one to two weeks 12.5 mg twice daily.

Angina: An initial dose of 12.5 mg is given twice daily, increased after two days to 25 mg twice daily.

Heart failure: The initial dose of 3.125 mg twice daily. If tolerated the dose should be doubled after two weeks to 6.25 mg twice daily.

ATV 10 / ATV 20
(Atorvastatin Calcium)

It is used to reduce LDL-cholesterol, apolipoprotein B, and triglycerides, and to increase HDL-cholesterol in the treatment of hyperlipidaemias, including hypocholesterolaemias and combined (mixed) hyperlipidaemia (type IIa or IIb hyperlipoproteinaemias), hypertriglyceridaemia (type IV) and dysbetalipoproteinaemia (type III); can also be effective as adjunctive therapy in patients with homozygous familial hypercholesterolaemia who have some LDL-receptor function.

• Primary hypercholesterolemia and combined hyperlipidemia usually 10 mg once daily; if necessary, may be increased at intervals of at least 4 weeks to maximum 80 mg once daily.

• Child 10-17 years usually 10 mg once daily.

• Familial hypercholesterolemia - initially 10 mg once daily,

• Increased at intervals of at least 4 weeks to 40 mg once daily  (or 40 mg once daily combined with anion-exhange resin in heterozygous   familial hypercholesterolemia)

• Child 10-17 years usually 10 mg once daily, increased if Necessary after at least 4 weeks to 20 mg once daily

• Prevention of cardiovascular events in type 2 diabetes, 10 mg once daily.

(Losartan Potassium)

Losartan Potassium is indicated for the treatment  of hypertension. It may be used alone or in combination with other antihypertensive agents, including diuretics. It is indicated to reduce the risk of stroke in patients with hypertension and left ventricular hypertrophy. It is also indicated for the treatment of diabetic nephropathy with an elevated serum creatinine and proteinuria in patients with type 2 diabetes and a history of hypertension.

• Pulmonary Hypertension
• Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension
• Patient with infection
• Left ventricular hypertrophy in hypertension

The usual starting dose of Losartan Potassium is 50 mg once daily, with 25 mg used in patients with possible depletion of intravascular volume (e.g. patients treated with diuretics) and patients with a history of hepatic impairment. Losartan Potassium can be administered once or twice daily with total daily dosage ranging from 25 to 100 mg. If the antihypertensive effect measured at trough using once-a-day regimen at the same total daily dose or an increase in dose may give a more satisfactory response. If blood pressure is not controlled by Losartan Potassium alone, a low dose of diuretic may be added. No initial dosage adjustment is necessary for elderly patients or for patients with renal impairment, including patients on dialysis, Losartan Potassium may be administered with or without food.

ATV Plus
(Atorvastatin + Amlodipine)

For patients at increased cardiovascular risk due to the presence of hypertension and dyslipidemia and/or dyslipidemia, prevention of cardiovascular complications in hypertensive patients e.g. reduce risk of death, no fetal myocardial infarction and stroke.

It must be individualized on the basis of both effectiveness and tolerance for each individual component for the treatment of hypertension/angina and hyperlipidemia.
